The only vector based video game system ever released for the home market. Vector games, like the original Star Wars arcade game, were all the rage in the 80's, but that never quite translated to the home consoles. The Vectrex had a short lifespan, but looking back, it's still a cool oddity. The system came with it's own integrated CRT monitor, that used color overlays for each game. There were even 3D Goggles and a light pen as peripherals! Somehow this thing is both ahead of it's time and completely of it's era, at the same time.
