Star Wars revolutionized the toy aisle, the same way it revolutionized the movies, when it came out in 1977. The corresponding toy line was so successful, that every toy company on the planet was trying to get in on the action with their own Sci-Fi line full of heroes, weird aliens and ships for them to fly around in. This included Tomland, out of Hong Kong, whose Starroid Raiders (later renamed Space Raiders), in the late 70's and early 80's, were some of the most original, memorable and trippy alien designs ever to grace toy shelves.
