John F. Kennedy Stadium Classic T-Shirt
JFK Stadium sat on Broad Street in the same area of South Philly as other legendary venues that no longer exist, like The Spectrum and The Vet. The Philadelphia Bell and Quakers played their home games here, as did the Eagles for the first 4 years of their existence. JFK Stadium also hosted 41 Army-Navy games. It's probably best known as a concert venue, and the list of artists that appeared here is staggering: The Beatles, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Who, Genesis, Journey, The Grateful Dead and Van Halen and Metallica on the Monsters of Rock tour. And of course, what the stadium is unquestionably most well known for was being the venue for the American portion of the Live Aid concert on July 13th, 1985. The is a Philly landmark that deserves to be remembered!
100% Cotton T-Shirt
