Coleco made the jump to early home computer manufacturer in 1985, with this system that hooked up to your TV and was fully compatible with the existing Colecovision software and accessories, giving it an advantage over similar computers of the time. Unfortunately it stumbled out of the gate with a slew of problems and many, many defective units making their way into the hands of consumers. There was no recovering.
